THE CASTLE TRIATHLON SERIES

Dear Castle Tri fans,

Spring has nearly sprung! Despite the storms, and incessant rain, a few sunny days have hopefully brought with it some encouragement to get outside and train. At the Castle Triathlon Series we are less than 3 months away from our first event, Lough Cutra in Galway, and others are fast approaching - so make sure you are signed up in order to still receive a discount of 15%.

We are also monitoring closely the developments relating to the spread of COVID-19 and noting the update and advice given by the UK and French governments.

On a lighter note, we have recently teamed up with a few new ambassadors – who represent our brand as avid Castle Series fans of all abilities, sharing their training journeys along the way. You will see our ambassadors announced across our social media pages and website over the next few weeks, so keep an eye out!

Keep battling through the weather, remember it will pay off in those glorious summer months!

The Ashdown Forest clumps sponsored walk

The Ashdown Forest Foundation fundraise to ensure the best possible future for the Forest.

The foundation supports the Conservators who have been caring for the Forest since 1885. They protect and care for this rare habitat and its endangered wildlife, to improve biodiversity and bio-abundance. They aim to conserve the beautiful landscape for public enjoyment and recreation, which raises the quality of life and wellbeing in the community. The Ashdown Forest is here for you and it needs your help.

The foundation has organised a revival of the 14 mile iconic Ashdown Forest Clumps Walk to raise funds for the Ashdown Forest Foundation. This trekking challenge visits 11 of the Scots Pine Clumps on Ashdown Forest. It will take most people over 6 hours to complete, although, a shorter walk is also available.

Registration is £15 (under 12s free). Register here

Our Castle Triathlon Series charity partner is MacMillan, who we have been fundraising with for the past 3 years.

This year we are aiming to surpass the £500,000 milestone, and you could help us to do so.

Sign up for one our charity places at a Castle Triathlon Series event – raise money for Macmillan whilst completing a personal challenge!

Volunteering

Our athletes could not make it through such gruelling events without your help and encouragement.

Not only will you be encouraging and enabling the participants, additionally, we offer a Trading Places Scheme. The scheme offers a free race place, up to and including Olympic Distance Triathlon, which is rewarded in return for a full day of marshalling with us.

This role can be undertaken by yourself (the competitor), a friend, or a family member who would like to support you. This also includes all of our Run Series, Swim Series and Multi-sport events, and 50% off a Gauntlet entry.

Sign up now to become a Castle Triathlon Series volunteer.
